Once a death has occurred we will attend to the location where your loved one has passed away, we will transfer them to your local mortuary to be looked after while the funeral arrangements are being made. We will provide a standard cremation coffin. On the day of the funeral we will arrange for a hearse to collect your loved one and transport them to the crematorium and we will guide you through the course of the service.
With our guidance, you will complete the paperwork, contact your chosen crematorium to arrange the date and time of the funeral service. you will contact the minister or celebrant of your choice to arrange for them to take the service. If you wish to have a church service you will make the arrangements with your chosen church. We will be available throughout the process to assist and guide you through each process.
From a horse drawn hearse to using your own vehicle, choosing the flowers, service sheets, church, crematorium or woodland burial you make all the decisions. At Family Arranged Funerals we understand how unique funeral arrangements are for each individual and that is why we are able to advise you for your many different needs
Doing all that may seem a little daunting at such an emotionally traumatic time so that is why Family Arranged Funerals has been set up. We will be available in the days or weeks preceding a death until a period after the funeral providing you with the help and support you need when you need it. We will advise on what preparations can be done as a death becomes imminent. The hours immediately after a death are often the most traumatic and it can be very difficult to think clearly and know what to do. During this period we will support you and be there to advise and guide you through what needs to be done. Of course the death may not always be expected but we can still be of assistance if you want to make the funeral arrangements yourself.
